Welcome to my recipe blog! I am so excited to start sharing my recipes, ideas, inspiration, pictures and most importantly my love of creating, both in and out of the kitchen.
I started this website in March 2016. After making a birthday cake for my cousin and taking it to school, I received numerous requests for birthday cakes. Exciting as it was, the requests began getting out of control with school work and extra curricular studies. Aaaaannnd, so it started!
Making specialized cakes has been a fun, tiring and very very very worthwhile hobby. I simply wouldn't be making them to this day if it wasn't for my mum. She has been my rock.
Anyway, time to get on with the post. As of recently, I have been extremely busy with my last few months at school and starting up a business (www.foundrycollective.co.nz). To maintain my sanity I have decided to share my creativity. In the future I hope to continue this blog and regularly add recipes, news and my forms of art. How about some delicious and decadent Raspberry Swirl + Peanut Butter Crunch Mousse Verrines in celebration? I have created rich and creamy peanut butter mousse, swirled with a tart raspberry jam and then topped with a crunchy caramel and peanut popcorn.
Make sure you use Pics Peanut Butter for the best tasting mousse! It's made right here in NZ and has the most natural and rich peanut flavour.... YUM!
I made mine in mini glass jars but feel free to experiment with regular jars or ramekins for larger servings.
